The firewood stack by MyPortal Studios adds a realistic supply of fuel for a hearth, forge, or rural building to workshop dioramas and other scale-model scenes. This decorative accessory is available in scales 1:18, 1:20, 1:22,5, 1:24, 1:32, and 1:35.
The pieces of wood form a low, slightly uneven stack, laid one on top of another in an offset arrangement. Visible bark textures and rough fibers alternate with angular broken and cut surfaces. The varied shapes give the woodpile a natural appearance, making it a fitting subject for a blacksmith scene, the exterior of a rural building, or a detailed collector's display case.
The following suggestions show how to incorporate the firewood stack into different scale-model worlds to suit each scale:
- 1:18: As a supply of firewood beside a small hearth in a miniature room, such as a rural living-room scene.
- 1:20: At the edge of a work yard in an architectural model, placed beside the entrance to a small forge.
