The single street lamp by MyPortal Studios adds a distinctive infrastructure detail to dioramas and model-making scenes, for example beside paths, squares or buildings. This multipart assembly is available in scales 1:18, 1:20, 1:22,5, 1:24, 1:32 and 1:35, and can be customized for a variety of miniature settings.
The lamp has a round base with fine struts for ground mounting. A curved arm extends from the straight post to a compact, enclosed lamp head. A separate straight post segment completes the assembly. Its clearly defined shapes and modeled mounting details make it a focal point in street, city and outdoor scenes.
Depending on the scale, the lamp can add character to different locations in a model landscape. These scene ideas show possible placements:
- 1:18: Beside the sidewalk in a garage diorama, the street lamp adds an urban accent to the model car scene.
- 1:20: In the forecourt of an architectural model, it marks the entrance to a small street scene.
- 1:22,5: Along a garden railway path, it can highlight a station entrance or a landscaped path.
- 1:24: At the edge of a Slotcar track, it complements a nighttime city setting with a distinctive infrastructure detail.
- 1:32: In a square beside a Gauge 1 station, it adds an accent to the railway landscape.
- 1:35: Placed by a workshop driveway, it adds a fitting street detail to a vehicle diorama.
