The freestanding tire rack from MyPortal Studios brings the functional atmosphere of an auto repair shop to dioramas, model-making displays, and collector cases. It works as a furnishing detail for workshop and garage scenes or as part of a modeled storage area. This decorative object is available in scales 1:18, 1:20, 1:22,5, 1:24, 1:32, and 1:35.
The rack has an open rectangular frame with four vertical supports, perimeter crossbars, and two shelves. Its angular, practical shape is reminiscent of a rack for stacking and storing tires. Suggested connection and fastening points at the frame corners emphasize its technical character. The visible lines and surfaces add a distinct workshop accent without dominating the rest of the scene.
Depending on the scale, the rack can be added to a variety of model-making settings. The following ideas show possible scenes and placements:
- 1:18: In a garage diorama, the tire rack stands against the back wall of a collector’s workshop, beside a modeled work area.
- 1:20: For a miniature display, the rack can be placed in the storage area of an architectural model, for example behind the open front of a workshop.
- 1:22,5: In a garden railway scene, the rack fits in a small workshop at the station, placed against the wall of the workroom.
- 1:24: The rack adds a workshop touch to a garage diorama when placed near the entrance against a side wall.
- 1:32: In a landscape diorama, the rack can furnish the interior of a remote vehicle workshop, placed beside a work surface.
- 1:35: For a vehicle diorama workshop scene, a spot in the rear storage area makes a striking detail between the wall and work zone.
This tire rack is an unpainted physical model-making accessory designed by MyPortal Studios and is not a toy. The settings mentioned are styling suggestions; additional scene accessories are not included.
