The telephone handset for a street telephone adds a small, evocative urban detail to dioramas and model-building scenes: it can be staged as a receiver that has been picked up or as an object placed beside a telephone. This unpainted decorative object is available in scales 1:18, 1:20, 1:22,5 – Gauge 2, 1:24 – Gauge H, 1:32 – Gauge 1, and 1:35.

The model depicts a classic handset with a long, slightly ergonomic handle. Rounded, disc-shaped elements for the speaker and microphone sit at either end. Smooth surfaces and softly rounded edges define its molded appearance; the subject is suited to a public street telephone or an urban telephone station.

Depending on the scale, the handset can help tell different little stories in a model-building scene:

  • 1:18: In a garage diorama, the receiver lies beside a telephone on the workshop wall.
  • 1:20: For a street diorama, place the handset on the sidewalk near a telephone station.

Product Notes
