The figure depicts a calmly seated traveler: the torso is slightly leaning forward, the legs are loosely crossed, and the head is held still. The hands rest relaxed on the knees or thighs - a moment of listening, almost like a pause in conversation. This posture gives the fantasy figure a serene presence that translates immediately into storytelling moments on the tabletop. Typical elements of a desert people are finely crafted: a turban-like head wrap, a long beard, and a loosely falling tunic with wide sleeves. A broad sash wraps around the waist, beneath which are wide trousers; wrapped boots follow the lines. A strap crossing diagonally over the chest adds a clear accent, while a long cloak with open sides elongates the silhouette and provides beautiful surfaces for light/shadow effects. The Elder sits on a hewn block or rock; the base shows uneven ground with subtle scenery - enough structure for dry brushing, pigments, or fine edge highlights without being overloaded. Thanks to the clean detailing, the unpainted miniature is excellent for individual painting: fabric folds, edges, and facial areas are clearly defined and invite subtle color transitions. On the tabletop, the miniature performs well in skirmish battles as well as in larger scenes; also as a role-playing NPC/civilian, in a market scene, in a caravan camp, or in a desert people's city setting. Collectors and diorama builders also appreciate the quiet storytelling moment that this figure conveys. Designed for experienced tabletop fans and miniature painters; not suitable for children.
The figure is offered with a base. A without-base option is not available.
The figure is offered at the designer's unscaled Tabletop size. 75 mm is also offered. Tabletop is the designer's original, unscaled size. For humanoid reference figures, this is approximately 32 mm to eye level. The enlarged 75 mm version also has an integrated base.
