The rectangular can adds a versatile accent to warehouse, market and transport scenes, complementing model-building dioramas, miniature settings and collector's displays alike. It is available in scales 1:18, 1:20, 1:22,5, 1:24, 1:32 and 1:35 and can be presented as a drink can, storage tin or general-purpose container, depending on the scene.
The model depicts a slim, angular container with distinctly rounded corners and flat sides. Its shape is defined by a closed, slightly domed lid, a raised rim running all the way around and a gently rounded base. The clearly defined surface provides a simple foundation for different paint schemes and uses without changing the recognizable shape of a rectangular can.
Depending on the scale, the can can be incorporated into suitable model-building scenes; the following suggestions show possible placements and ways to display it:
- 1:18: As a storage tin on a shelf in a miniature workshop, complementing a detailed garage diorama scene.
- 1:20: As a merchandise container on a sales table in a street diorama featuring a small market stall.
- 1:22,5: As a provisions tin on a bench on the platform, set in a garden railway station scene.
- 1:24: As a drink can on a work surface in a dollhouse miniature room with a domestic kitchen scene.
- 1:32: As a storage container beside crates against the wall of a small warehouse in a Gauge 1 landscape.
- 1:35: As a container on a side table in a vehicle diorama workshop, surrounded by model workshop details.
Supplied as an unpainted physical model-making object, not an STL download. The design is by MyPortal Studios; the model is not a toy. Suggested settings and additional scene accessories are not included.
