The open military can by MyPortal Studios is a small decorative item for detailed dioramas and model making. It makes a distinctive reference to supply, storage or recent refueling. The model is available in scales 1:18, 1:20, 1:22,5, 1:24, 1:32 and 1:35.
The rectangular fuel can has rounded edges, embossed reinforcing ribs and a functional-looking handle area. Its open filler cap takes center stage: the raised cap bracket with attached spout creates the impression that the can is in use. Its textured surface and compact shape give the model a clear, utilitarian appearance as a military transport and storage detail.
Depending on the scale, the can can be incorporated into a variety of model worlds. The following ideas show possible scenes and specific placements:
- 1:18: Placed beside a workbench in a garage diorama, the can adds to a scene built around a model car.
- 1:20: For a military diorama, it can stand at the edge of a makeshift supply point in a landscape setting.
