The sandbag barricade by MyPortal Studios adds a compact defensive position to military dioramas and other model-making scenes. This unpainted decorative object is available in scales 1:18, 1:20, 1:22.5, 1:24, 1:32 and 1:35, and can be incorporated as cover or as a striking feature of a combat zone.
The barricade consists of irregularly layered, offset sandbags. Varied fill levels, slightly deformed shapes and collapsed bag ends create a varied silhouette. Fabric textures and visible seams add fine surface details; the design evokes a makeshift military position.
Depending on the scale, the barricade can play different roles in a scene. The following ideas show possible placements in model making:
- 1:18: As cover at the edge of a combat zone in a military diorama with model figures.
- 1:20: As a barricade in front of a damaged-looking building entrance in a miniature setting with an architectural model.

The support structures remain on the figures for safe transport. These can be removed with fine pliers or carefully by hand. The figures can be gently heated with a hair dryer to facilitate release. Further information can be found in the FAQs .
