The sandbag barricade by MyPortal Studios brings a distinctive defensive position to military dioramas and other model scenes. This unpainted decorative model is available in scales 1:18, 1:20, 1:22.5, 1:24, 1:32, and 1:35, making it a striking feature for dioramas, landscape models, and collector's display cases.
The low, tiered structure consists of numerous sandbags stacked on top of one another, with rounded ends. Visible folds, seams, and compression marks define the surface; loose bags in front of and beside the barricade complete the design. Together, the elements create the impression of a quickly assembled field fortification.
The various scales offer suitable ways to incorporate the defensive position into different model settings:
- 1:18: As a prominent post at the edge of a military diorama with model vehicles, such as at the entrance to a makeshift field camp.
- 1:20: In a miniature scene, as a fortified passage through a ruined street scene, set between building remains.
- 1:22.5: For a Gauge II military scene, as protection for a small railway crossing, set beside a path through the landscape.
- 1:24: As a defensive position in a garage diorama with military vehicles, arranged at the back of the scene.
- 1:32: In a landscape diorama, as a field fortification at a fork in the road, placed near a modeled embankment.
- 1:35: For a vehicle diorama, as cover at the entrance to a field camp, positioned directly beside the access road.
You will receive an unpainted model-making item designed by MyPortal Studios; it is not a toy. The settings mentioned are suggestions, and additional scene accessories are not included.
