The electronic door lock from MyPortal Studios adds a distinctive, technical entrance detail to military dioramas and other model-building scenes. This unpainted decorative piece is available in scales 1:18, 1:20, 1:22,5, 1:24, 1:32 and 1:35 and can be used as a wall or door detail on secure buildings.

The model features a wide, stepped frame with a recessed front plate. It has twelve raised buttons in four rows, with a sturdy horizontal door handle with rounded ends below. Its angular design and clearly defined components are especially suited to defensive positions, secure rooms and technical building entrances.

Depending on the scale, the door lock can be incorporated into a variety of model-building scenes. Here are some ideas for scenes and placement:

  • 1:18: In a military diorama, the keypad can sit beside the entrance to a secure workshop wall as a striking detail in a miniature room.
  • 1:20: For an architectural model, a control building door is a good option, such as the entrance to a fenced military site.
  • 1:22,5: In a garden railway scene, the lock can be placed on the exterior wall of a remote signal or technical building.
  • 1:24: In a ship diorama, it can be used as a design detail for the entrance to a locked technical room inside the ship.
  • 1:32: On a Gauge 1 layout, the keypad can accent the entrance to a small guardhouse in a military landscape scene.
  • 1:35: In a vehicle diorama, the lock can be positioned beside the door of a secure depot or workshop building.

You will receive an unpainted model-building piece designed by MyPortal Studios; it is not a toy. Suggested settings and additional scene accessories are not included.
