The treaded truck tire from MyPortal Studios adds a distinctive transport detail to workshop dioramas and other model scenes. This unpainted decorative object is available in scales 1:18, 1:20, 1:22,5, 1:24, 1:32, and 1:35, and can be used as a workshop detail in a variety of miniature settings.
The compact, wide tire model has a central opening and a carefully detailed tread surface. Circumferential grooves, V-shaped sipes, and a finely textured center tread define the appearance of this rugged-looking truck tire. Its molded tread makes it a fitting detail for mechanic’s workshops, storage areas, and scenes involving commercial vehicles.
The following styling suggestions show how to place the tire in a suitable model setting, depending on the scale:
- 1:18: Placed beside a workshop rack in a garage diorama, the tire complements a scene depicting maintenance on a model truck.
- 1:20: In a street diorama, it can be placed at the edge of a small repair area to suggest work on a commercial vehicle.
- 1:22,5: In a station scene, the tire can lie beside a goods shed, creating a maintenance area in the garden railway setting.
- 1:24: A spot beside the workbench in a miniature room works well, for example as a detail in a compact model garage.
- 1:32: On a landscape diorama construction site, the tire can mark the edge of the work area beside a parked tractor model.
- 1:35: In a workshop scene, it fits on the floor near a lift, adding a tire-changing detail to a vehicle diorama.
This unpainted model-making accessory was designed by MyPortal Studios and is not a toy. The settings mentioned are styling suggestions; additional scene accessories are not included.
