The cylindrical metal trash can overflowing with rubbish is a distinctive detail for city, street, and building dioramas. It is ideal for bringing house entrances, backyards, and street corners in model scenes to life. This decorative object is available in scales 1:18, 1:20, 1:22,5, 1:24, 1:32, and 1:35.
The body widens slightly toward the top and has a pronounced rim and round base. Two rows of vertical slots and a solid reinforcing ring define the outer wall. Crumpled rubbish and garbage bags protrude visibly over the rim, making this an everyday, deliberately untidy urban detail.
Depending on the scale, the trash can can be added to a variety of model settings. The following ideas show possible scenes and placements:
- 1:18: In a garage diorama, it makes an eye-catching detail beside the workshop entrance or against a back courtyard wall.
- 1:20: In an architectural street scene, it can be placed at the edge of a house entrance or beside a narrow side alley.
- 1:22,5: As an urban detail in a garden railway scene, it fits by the entrance to a station yard or at the back of a small commercial building.
- 1:24: In a miniature room, it can be placed by a back door or beside the entrance to a densely built courtyard.
- 1:32: In a landscape diorama with a village setting, try placing it beside a bus stop or against the wall of a small shop.
- 1:35: In a workshop scene, the trash can can sit at the edge of a workshop yard or beside the entrance to a commercial building.
This object is supplied unpainted as a model accessory and was designed by MyPortal Studios. It is not a toy. Suggested settings and additional scene accessories are not included.
