This figure set depicts a complete media team for press, event and interview scenes. Two reporters with microphones, two camera operators and two photographers in different shooting positions allow existing dioramas to be varied.

Scales and suitable projects

The reporter set is available in several scales. The 1:18 version is particularly suitable for large model cars, garage and display-case scenes. 1:20 suits larger specialist dioramas, while 1:22,5 can be selected for garden railway and Gauge II scenes. 1:24 complements model cars and exhibition scenes of this size.

1:32 is suitable for a slot car racetrack or Gauge I layout. 1:35 is an appropriate choice for vehicle dioramas and plastic model building. 1:43 can be combined with model cars and diecast collections. 1:48 is suitable for vehicle dioramas and US O scale scenes, while 1:50 integrates well into architectural and city models.

Practical uses

• For a vehicle presentation or garage diorama, reporters, camera operators and photographers can be arranged around a model car. 1:18, 1:24 and 1:43 are particularly suitable.
• For a racetrack, photographers at the trackside and the reporter team in the interview area create a suitable press scene. Depending on the layout, 1:18 or 1:32 are the main options.
• On a model railway, the set can depict a press event at a station, in front of a building or beside a stage. 1:22,5 suits garden railways and Gauge II, 1:32 suits Gauge I, and 1:48 suits US O scale.
• In a city, event or architectural model, the six figures can create coverage in front of a stage, public building or cordoned-off presentation area. 1:50 is especially suitable for compact projects.

The figures are made of resin and supplied unpainted and with support structures. Before individual painting, the supports must be removed and the surfaces prepared as is customary in model making. This is a model-making accessory and not a toy.
